WHINN PITCHFIRE is back and this year! And we are organising 2 pre workshops before the final at the WHINN WEEK 2017.
WHINN PITCHFIRE starts with an intense day of training, discussion and feedback in either Odense or Copenhagen. The training session is arranged and moderated by CONNECT Denmark, which is a non-profit organisation specialized in helping startups and SME to the next level of commercialization.
Last year the young SME “Dosesystem ApS” took part in the pitchfire. Even though Dosesystem was not looking for an investor the event was a great way for the small company to get better at presenting the product and the business case. But this was not the only thing Dosesystem got out of being a part of the competition:
'It is always good to get feedback on your pitch, to interact with a competent audience, and to network with likeminded people from your industry. The pitchfire serves as a good platform for you to reach such benefits, and I personally appreciated the informal format and interaction with the other startups', says Casper Craggs, CCO in DoseSystem.
DoseSystem has developed a groundbreaking medication reminder system for patients and healthcare staff.
Criteria for applying
Startups and companies working with health and welfare solutions. “The field of welfare” is defined in broad terms, although with the emphasis on utilizing business opportunities in welfare technologies and welfare services in association with hospital construction, prevention and nutrition, greater self-care, care services and treatment of illness, for example.
The we are having the WHINN PITCHFIRE FINAL 10th October 2017 and there will be organised an WHINN AWARD SHOW during the WHINN DINNER in the evening where the winner will be announced.
