HIMSS and Health 2.0 Europe will be contributing to the WHINN educational programme, bringing critical thought leadership to the forefront and engaging its ever-expanding network of start-ups. HIMSS will help shape three tracks:
- Is digital health the future for healthcare?
- Social Health - how do social factors affect the health of the individual?
- Prevention - how is digital technology affecting our approach to prevention?
In addition to conferences and activities, WHINN offers complementary events such as state of the art technology in use, fascinating test laboratories where tomorrow’s health technology is being developed as well as inspirational company visits.
Michaela Andersen, Director at WHINN, said: “We are very proud and honoured to have HIMSS and Health 2.0 onboard WHINN. Last year we had 2,400 delegates attending from 40 countries and we are certain that with the strong partners already in our programme committee we will be able to strengthen the international content and especially bring thought leaders to the event.”
Hal Wolf, CEO and President of HIMSS said: “WHINN continues to develop unique content and thought provoking sessions. HIMSS is honoured to participate as both a facilitator and contributor to thought leadership”.
Bruce Steinberg, Executive Vice President of HIMSS International, added: “We are delighted to be joining the WHINN Programme Committee in 2018. It is essential to build partnerships and stimulate innovation in Europe so that together we can realise the full potential of transforming health through information and technology to improve patient outcomes”.
