Danielle is on the steering committee for HIMSS African-American special interest group. George Crooks speaks at
George is the former Chairman of the Digital Health & Care Institute for its phase one delivery, George now takes the place of CEO for phase two of DHI's development.
Prior to joining DHI, George was CEO of NHS24, which he joined in September 2006 as Medical Director.
George’s role with NHS 24 encompassed supporting the governance, quality and safety of all clinical services; developing new services in partnership with other NHS organisations and leadership and management oversight of the Scottish Centre for Telehealth and Telecare. George was involved in the design, development and delivery of digital tools and services that support the redesign of health and care services to empower service users and carers and strengthen the integration of health and care services.
Prior to his role at NHS24, George was a General Practitioner in Aberdeen for 22 years. He subsequently became Director of Primary Care for NHS Grampian, with responsibility for all community-based independent contractor services.
George has a particular interest in the field of unscheduled care, including the development of common assessment and triage processes across the NHS and the use of technology to support the delivery of high quality patient care to the population of Scotland.

Habib was elected Forbes 30 under 30 in Technology. Eternally curious, he graduated as the youngest Medical Doctor in Denmark at the age of 23. He is certified as a Trauma Team Leader (ATLS) by the American College of Surgeons, and is formally trained in the Management of Medical Device Development.

Morten Elbaek Petersen has been the CEO of the Danish eHealth portal, sundhed.dk, since it was founded in 2003. He has more than 20 years of management experience in public administration with a primary focus on implementing eHealth, quality development, prevention and patient empowerment. The Danish eHealth portal pioneers open access to medical records, and is in this regard unique worldwide.
Morten Elbæk Petersen holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Social Science from the University of Odense. He also serves as an external lecturer and examiner for Public Health IT Masters programmes at Danish universities.

Currently he’s a Masters Candidate for Public Health and Health Informatics at the University of Malta and the University of Sheffield respectively.
