Innovation & Co-Creation; Active and Healthy Ageing in a European Perspective

For a one-day event during WHINN – Week of Health and Innovation - regions and organizations involved in innovation in health and social care will convene in Odense to share experiences and be part of a journey for a Europe, where we learn from each other, facilitate growth for our industry and create a better healthcare for our citizens.

Too many technological solutions and good practices within the health and social care sector do not make it beyond the pilot phase. In 2012, the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing (EIP on AHA) was established. A primary objective of the EIP on AHA is to gather and upscale technological solutions and good practices that have been developed and tested to different degrees. Today it is recognized that scaling up and implementing innovative practices is a challenging and complex process so collaboration across organizations is necessary.

Regions and organizations from all of Europe working within the field of health care innovation and innovation of social care will convene in Odense for a one-day event during WHINN – Week of Health and Innovation. We want to share instructive experiences and, by means of the people attending and speaking at this event, take you on an inspirational journey around Europe with the aim to exchange ideas, facilitate growth for our industry and create a better healthcare for our citizens.

The event is hosted by the Region of Southern Denmark in partnership with CORAL, ECHAlliance and Reference Site Collaborative Network for EIP on AHA.

The event will be organized within three themes, being;

> Setting the scene / Scaling up and creating a market
