Design and Technology for People with Disabilities

Engelsk/ English

What makes a product great is when you succeed in making design and technology walk hand in hand. Who doesn’t love an iPhone, a Tesla or a KitchenAid? The subjects of design and technology are widely discussed, both individually and as one, and it applies to many different areas. However, within the area of products and accessibility for people with disabilities there are still great untapped potentials with respect to both design and technology.

At this one-day conference we look at the possibilities for making good design and technology accessible to everyone. Through speeches, pitches, user involvement and discussion, we look at how we can meet the user’s needs and how we can design technologies, environments and relations so that they are usable for as many people as possible, regardless of their age, ability or situation.

It is an important subject and therefore we are glad to be able to host a conference on this matter, inviting speakers and profiles; both companies and politicians as well as users and designers with special insight into this area. We welcome you to a day with focus on where we are today, what we want for the future and how we expect to get there.
